Shopping opportunities in Loveland have grown in the past year to include many new stores and restaurants drawing consumers from other communities, as well as local residents. No longer having to leave town to enjoy the shopping experience, Lovelanders are celebrating their independence from surrounding towns by shopping locally.

Historic Downtown Loveland offers a unique shopping environment with unique restaurants, art galleries/studios, museum, book stores, gift shops, antique stores, and much more in the heart of Loveland. Opening soon in Loveland's downtown is the Lincoln Place, with 200 luxury apartment homes constructed three and four stories above 22,000 square feet of retail space. The newest shopping experience in Loveland is The Promenade Shops at Centerra Lifestyle Center with stores and restaurants just east of I-25 at Highway 34. Joining The Promenade are Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, On The Border, J. Jill, Eddie Bauer, American Eagle Outfitters, Gymboree, Helzberg Diamonds, Pacific Sunwear, Sunglass Hut/Watch Station, LensCrafters, Finish Line, Gamestop, Cingular Wireless, Foley's Department Store, Dick's Sporting Goods, Bath and Body Works, Chapungu Gallery Victoria's Secret, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, P.F. Chang's, and more. The Metrolux 14 theaters are also located at The Promenade. Amenities include fountains, an ice skating rink, a children's play area, a central meeting area, sculpture park and nature trails, outdoor seating, and plentiful landscaping.

Still expanding is The Marketplace at Centerra. Located on the west side of I-25 The Marketplace I and II feature JoAnn's, Old Navy, Ross, Marshall's Panera Bread, Mimis Cafe, Chick-fil-A, banking, and much more.

Brand new at I-25 and Crossroads Blvd. is The Motorplex at Centerra, the region's original master-planned auto park. With more than 100 acres of retail space for dealers who represent the top auto marquees, the upscale center will be the largest gathering of auto dealers in northern Colorado. Current dealers include Co's BMW; Davidson Chevrolet Subaru of Loveland; Ferrero I-25 Dodge-Jeep-Chrysler; and King Buick Pontiac GMC.

The Outlets at Loveland are located at I-25 and west Highway 34 (take exit 257B). With a selection of more than 80 stores, you can find value, a great selection, and brand names. Some extra services are trolley transportation, ATM, strollers, and wheelchairs.

Coffee Shops

In the last few years, coffee shops have been brewing in Loveland, with many new shops opening. Loveland Coffee Co. can be found on 29th Street in north Loveland, and their newest, location (with drive-thru) on Boyd Lake Avenue off East U.S. Hwy. 34. Two popular coffee shops are located in downtown-Circle Moon Coffee House on Cleveland Avenue just west of Safeway; and inside Anthology Book Co., on 4th Street. Daz Bog coffee can be found at Denver Avenue and East U.S.Hwy. 34. There are also six locations of Star Bucks throughout Loveland.

Around Town

Located at the intersection of U.S. 287 & 29th Street, at the Orchards Shopping Center you will find Hallmark, Ace Hardware, Home Depot, King Soopers grocery, FirstCare Medical Clinic, Orchard's Athletic Club and more than 40 stores to peruse from hardware to software to eateries.

Thompson Valley Towne Center is located at Taft Avenue and S.W. 14th Street. A wide range of shopping, restaurants, banking, and services can be found.
