Historic Downtown

The historic centerpiece of Loveland is its downtown. In the late 1800s, commercial buildings began sprouting up near the railroad tracks where passengers and freight arrived daily. Since then, for more than 100 years, Loveland's development has been reflected in the growth of this central business district.

Today, downtown remains the heart of the community with unique retail shops, quality antique stores, an abundance of great restaurants, coffee shops and art galleries. On Tuesdays, shop for fresh, locally grown vegetables at the Farmer's Market at the corner of Lincoln Avenue and Eighth Street from 2 to 6 p.m.

Downtown Loveland Association

The Loveland Chamber of Commerce played an active role in the development of the Downtown Loveland Association (DLA), and remains a visible participant. In partnership with the Chamber, the DLA will continue to work toward attracting more businesses, events and visitors to downtown Loveland. The DLA mission is to promote unity, public awareness and economic vitality of downtown while cooperating with local business, residents and government agencies to support and enhance the area.
