The Thompson R2-J School District
Thompson School District serves more than 15,000 students at 18
elementary schools, five middle schools, and five high schools. The
district is a leader in the area of modernizing curriculum, redesigning
testing and aligning both with state academic standards.
The mission of the district is: "In partnership with the community, the
Thompson schools will educate all students to assume their current and
future responsibilities as individuals and citizens and members of the
work force.
The District is guided by a vision to reach all students. Through its
strategic plan, the district is driven by the components of four major
goals guided by a set of underlying principles aimed at reaching the
whole child. The goals cover the basic skills of reading, writing and
math; critical thinking and creativity; safety and belonging; and school
to life.

Immanuel Lutheran School provides quality education in a Christian environment, serving Loveland families
for more than 30 years. The school is located at 1101 Hilltop Drive. A new building is under construction and should be completed in 2009.

Campion Academy Campion Academy, Seventh-day Adventist Education, is dedicated to educating students in a knowledge of God the Creator and Jesus the Savior as revealed

Loveland enjoys easy access to the state's three largest universities: Colorado State University in Fort Collins (12 miles north), University of Northern Colorado in Greeley (20 miles east), and University of Colorado at Boulder (35 miles southwest).
Two community colleges also serve the Loveland area.
Aims Community College has a campus in downtown Loveland at 104 East 4th
Street. The Loveland Campus, donated by the McKee Charitable Trust,
opened in the fall of 1990. In addition to traditional classrooms, the
Loveland Campus has three state-of-the-art computer classrooms, a
science laboratory, and a Learning Resource Center, which provides
computers, videos and other supplemental resources to enhance students'

Street, Fort Collins, CO, 80526. Front Range Community College is
