About the contest:
This contest is to get into the spirit of Valentines in the Sweetheart City. The Loveland Chamber of Commerce wants businesses in Loveland to show their spirit and there is no better way to do this by a friendly, competitive contest.

How to enter:
All business who are investors and non-investors of the Loveland Chamber of Commerce are encouraged to enter. Just fill out the online form before Feb. 10, 2012. However, voting begins on Jan. 30, so it's encouraged to register early!

How winners are selected:
Business customers, Loveland residents and visitors will select the top three finalists in each category by voting. The Loveland Chamber will select the overall winner in each category and the Best Overall winner. More information on judging criteria can be found in the Rules & Regulations section below.

How people can vote:
There are three ways that customers, residents and visitors can vote:

1. By sending a text message. Each business entered into the contest will receive a banner with a number customers can send their vote to.
2. By filling out an online form on the Chamber website. Each business entered will receive the URL to the online form.
3. By filling out a ballot. Each business entered into the contest will receive forms customers can fill out at your business. You will need to return ballots to the Chamber.

To capture consumers and visitors!
The Loveland Chamber of Commerce believes this will help drive consumers into your business and  increase tourism to the Sweetheart City.

Exposure!
Entrees will be placed on the Loveland Chamber website including a photo of the business in its fully decorated state. Finalists and overall winners will be featured in the Chamber’s newsletter, website and announced to local media.

Fun!
Loveland is truly the perfect place to get into the Valentines spirit. Businesses have the opportunity to get involved and have fun with it!

1. Complete the registration form (online | PDF)  and return it to the Loveland Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center before Feb. 10, 2012. However, voting begins on Jan. 14, so return the registration form early.
2. Creativity and collaboration are the primary contest criteria. The contest is meant to demonstrate the Sweetheart City community.
3. The Chamber encourages businesses  to decorate the exterior since it will draw people in; however, interior decorating can apply to the contest.  Increase your chances of winning by decorating the exterior and interior.
4. Winners will be selected from the following categories: Large Business, Small Business, School, Non-profit and Best Overall.
5. The top-three finalists in each category are chosen from popular vote by Loveland residents and visitors.
6. Residents and visitors can vote from Jan. 30 to Feb. 10, 2012.
7. Each business entered will receive information and materials to allow customers, residents and visitors to vote.
8. The overall winner in each category will be chosen from the top three finalists and selected by the Loveland Chamber of Commerce.
9. The Best Overall winner will be chosen from all 12 finalists by the Loveland Chamber of Commerce.
10. Judging criteria include: quality, time spent, best use of materials, creativity, most artistic, originality, and Valentines-themed to demonstrate Loveland as the Sweetheart City.
11. Contest winners will be announced on Feb. 14, 2012, and receive a certificate of recognition.

2. Wait to receive information and materials on how customers, residents and visitors can vote (i.e. text message, online form, and ballots).
3. You will be contacted by a Chamber Marketing Resource Committee photographer to have photos taken. You may send a photo of your decorated business to valentines@loveland.org.
4. Ask customers, residents and visitors to vote for you.
